This Is What Real Looks Like.
Your family photos should feel like you—beautiful, imperfect, and lived-in. My sessions are fun and unstaged, but thoughtfully planned. When we plan your session, we’ll chat about activities and must-have shots, leaving space for spontaneity (and little shoot directors taking over!). On the day, you can just enjoy each other while I snap away.
I won’t squeeze you into a “look” and I don’t have a “client wardrobe”. There will be no stiff posing, but enough guidance to make sure you love how you look. My editing is light, giving you honest, beautiful images that feel like your family. (Don’t worry, you will look great!).
I’m obsessed with capturing unscripted interactions and the beauty in the everyday. And as a mother, I know how easy it is to get lost in it all. My photography will make sure you feel seen, too.

Frequently asked questions
Here are some answers to common questions I'm asked. I hope you find this helpful, but if you still have a question, please do get in touch.
More FAQsHow far in advance should I book?
Weekend slots go fast (and I like to save some for my own family adventures), so the sooner, the better—especially if you’re looking at May–September.
Help! I have no idea what to wear.
Please, no head-to-toe beige, I beg you! Jokes aside, wear what makes you feel good. I’m not a fan of matchy-matchy outfits that scream, “We dressed for a photoshoot!” Be bold with colour, avoid distracting prints (like big logos or cartoon characters), and maybe skip the all-black or shiny fabrics. Need help coordinating colours? Here’s a handy guide: What To Wear Guide
Can we bring our dog/cat/mini-zoo?
Absolutely. Pets are family, so they belong in your photos. I used to be a dog trainer, so excitable noisy dogs don’t scare me. Still waiting for someone to bring a parrot or a lizard, though… just saying!
Can grandparents or other family members join?
The more, the merrier! More people means more interactions, more variety, and more fun. (Plus, you can split the cost.)
Where will our session take place?
Your home! I love in-home sessions—kids are more relaxed, there’s more variety, and we can capture those little everyday moments that make your family your family. We can start at home, then head outdoors if the mood strikes. If you’re within 25 miles of Fleet, travel is included.
But my home is small/messy/dark—will that be a problem?
Not at all! I bring extra lighting, and I promise your space will look bright and beautiful in photos. Most indoor images on my website were taken with a flash—so trust me, it’ll be perfect.
What if my child gets sick and we need to reschedule?
Been there. Had to move a birthday party once because of a last-minute fever. My cancellation policy is 21 days, but I also know kids don’t give us a heads-up before getting ill. If someone’s poorly, I’ll do my best to reschedule.
We’re super awkward in front of the camera—what now?
I don’t believe you! People who say this usually end up being the most natural. My sessions are relaxed, filled with laughter, and designed to make you forget the camera’s even there. Let me do the thinking—you just have fun!
What if my kids go full chaos mode on the day?
Trust me, they won’t outdo mine (I fully admit to shouting when photographing my own girls). But honestly, other people’s kids? Absolute angels in comparison. I’ve photographed whirlwind toddlers obsessed with sticks, overexcited princesses mid-performance, SEN kids, grumpy teenagers who’d rather be anywhere else, and one determined little boy who spent the entire session hiding in a bush. Whatever happens, I’ve got tricks up my sleeve, whether it’s letting them take a turn with the camera or the strategic use of sticker-based bribery!
What happens if it rains?
That’s why I love in-home sessions! If the skies throw a tantrum, we can stay cosy inside. If it’s just a drizzle, we can embrace the adventure. Either way, we roll with it – no stress.
Do I get to see all the photos?
I take around 400-600 images per session, then I narrow it down to the best ones (because you really don’t need 15 near-identical shots). Your gallery will have at least 50 images to choose from—or you can skip the decision-making and get the full gallery.
How long until I get to see my photos?
Your preview gallery will be ready within two working days. I always set aside time the next working day to go through your images – unless school holidays or a poorly child delay me. Editing takes up to a week, depending on the package you choose.
Can I order prints, or is it all digital?
Yes! You can order prints straight from your gallery. They’ll be printed at a professional lab and shipped to you—no dodgy high-street prints here. Here’s a sample gallery to see printing options: Click Here
How long do you keep my photos?
Your gallery stays up for three months. After that, there’s a £15 admin fee if you need them reuploaded. Originals are backed up for two years, but I strongly recommend downloading your images ASAP and keeping them safe – once they’re delivered, they’re yours to protect!
